Suggested Travel Route for Adi Kailash

The standard travel route combines both motorable roads and trekking paths. Due to the sensitive border area, only authorized routes must be followed.

• Start: Pithoragarh
• Drive: Pithoragarh → Dharchula (92 km)
• Drive/Trek: Dharchula → Gunji → Nabi → Kuti
• Trek: Kuti → Jyolingkong (Base of Adi Kailash)

Special Instructions: From Dharchula onwards, Inner Line Permit (ILP) verification is mandatory. Only authorized vehicles and guided trekking groups are allowed beyond checkposts.
